Kari Samantha is an American actor, performer and singer (born on April 28 1967). Her career started when she was still in her teens. Her most well-known roles include Maggie Beckett, an actress in the film Sliders; and her character Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter Karin Noble (nee Noble) working as a payroll accountant and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a policeman and car dealer). She has three sisters and brothers. She started singing at nightclubs as a teenager and would sneak out of her home to perform. After studying acting at the Wooster School at 13 years old she studied drama in New York University's Tisch School of the Arts located at Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. She also studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under renowned Uta Hagen. Her birthplace was in Brookfield Connecticut on 28 April, she was raised there. Her father is German American and an auto dealer as well as a police agent. Kari is the youngest of three children. She sang in nightclubs as an teen, sneaking away from the home to perform. Kari was just 13 years old when she started acting classes at the Wooster School. In the following years, Kari enrolled at Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College. Kari got into acting while she was still in the teen years. Her debut big breakthrough in the form of MTV Remote Control in 1987.
