Meagan Monique Good was born August 8th, 1981 in Panorama City neighborhood of Los Angeles to Tyra Wardlow Doyle who managed her in her teens and her father Leondis Leon Good is an LAPD police officer. Her family consisted of three brothers within Canyon Country in California and started acting at her age of 4. At the beginning of her career she appeared as an actress in programs on television like Doogie Howser Amen or M.D. In 1995 at 13 she was cast in her debut movie Friday. In 1997, she was recognized for her performance in Eve's Bayou as Cisely Batiste, a troubled teenager. She was awarded her first N.A.A.C.P. nomination for this film. Image Award nominee. Good started with minor parts in television and film for a couple of years after which she moved on to more mature roles at the start of the 2000s. The actress played Nina in Cousin Skeeter in a Nickelodeon T.V. In her role as Nina, she was seen on the Nickelodeon T.V. program Cousin Skeeter from 1998 until 2001. She also landed small roles in films House Party Down to the show from 1998 to 2001. Minute as well as 3 Strikes. The actress played Vanessa Scott in the sitcom My Wife and Kids in 2003. The show featured her in D.E.B.S in 2004, an action comedy film, which got her nominated as the Best Actress in the Black Movie Awards in 2005. Killmer originates from Texas and studied at Baylor University, Waco Texas. She earned a degree in performing arts. The degree for performing arts was awarded in 2010. She began her screen career with the web-series If I Can Dream. Kara Killmer began her career on screen in the year 2010 following her appearances in several local plays. She appeared in Simon Fuller's Hulu Series If I Can Dream in the pilot episode. The reality show revolved around the group of actors who move into a home in Hollywood California.
